Now this is a cool instrumental album. The Glaciers, “From Sea To Ski”… a really cool vinyl on Mercury Records. Surf styled, hot-rod tunes with great album cover art. This one is a great collector piece for anyone with an extensive vinyl collection – and I just so happen to be one of those people. But hey, at some point, the album will leave the nest here and find a new owner.

here’s a great record. I don’t care who you are – everyone can dig The Trashmen! The hit song of course is Surfin’ Bird and the B side is King of the Surf. This is an early pressing of these hits on the Garrett label – GA 4002.
I came across this album today… haven’t heard it in forever. It was great to play tonight. Brought me back to my roots growing up at the beach. I actually learned to surf on a board like the ones on the cover, and OLE pop-out – but that’s another story completely.
Cover’s in VG+ condition and the record is the same. Nice shape all around. Its hard to find these in nice condition like this. I guess they got played quite a bit back in the day.
Awesome, early rock-n-roll with The Kickstands. As the cover shows, the record is all about motorcycles. The sound is like the Beach Boys, except substitute motorcycles with surfboards. Pretty cool album.
Here’s what it sounds like (sorry for the shaky video!)
